Hiking through the Apple Plateau Natz-Schabs
The sunny apple plateau Natz-Schabs offers a wide network of more than 80 kilometers of hiking trails. The paths are relatively flat and lead with a slight ascent to picturesque places, through spectacular apple orchards and vineyards. Various themed trails like the Apple Trail or the nature trail offer the opportunity to acquire knowledge during a walk. Additionally, some wonderful viewpoints invite you to take a break and rest.
Experience nature with your family
Our accommodation is the perfect starting point for family hikes in nature. Adventure trails in the mountains, educational geopaths for little explorers, forests, and meadows offer many opportunities to enjoy nature. Additionally, excursions to the idyllic and nearby Rodeneck, a tour under the Geisler peaks in Villnöss, or untouched Lüsen are perfect places for a family vacation in South Tyrol.
Excursion to the Dolomitic Valley Villnöss
Only a short trip from Natz-Schabs, a popular destination is the beautiful Villnösstal. Here you can go on one of the well-marked hiking trails of the Dolomite valley and then stop at one of the traditional South Tyrolean huts. A wonderful trail is the Albert-Munkel-Trail, which passes directly under the Geisler peaks. Here you can enjoy the beauty of nature through idyllic alpine meadows and sparse woods with the Dolomites close enough to touch.
Bike excursion
Enjoy the mountains and valleys on two wheels from April to November. We recommend bike routes along the apple orchards towards the south or the Pustertal. Mountain bikers can ride on the challenging trails of the Plose, those who would like to move on quickly without too much strain can ride on an e-bike to the alpine pastures, and those who want to see the Dolomite passes can get around with a road bike.
